Hello,
Right now I'm trying to copy the contents of my server's old hdd on the new raid array with xcopy and some switches. However, I doubt that it will boot off of it. Is there a way to make that drive bootable? Or do I have to use the repair console thing and do a fixmbr and fixboot with the w2k3 cd?
also, pagefile.sys couldn't be copied. Does it matter? I think it will just recreate the file at next startup, right?
in case it can't copy vital system files, is there a way to repair my windows 2k3 without losing all my settings, connections and such? I have the cd in case that helps.
Any ideas?

I solved the problem and just re-installed windows directly onto the raid array.
