I REINSTALLED A SMALL PROGRAM i USE FREQUENTLY ( RENAMER 3.0)
AND NOW IT WANTS to pop up on the right side and partiall buried on the bottom
previously it came up in the middel
now evrey tiem i hasve to drag it to the middel
I deleted reinstalled ran regclean ( w98)
how do i coreect this annoyance>?

btw 2 obsticles high speed controller arrived and permits other drives to be just plugged in'
and 2. monitor is runninmg on a power supply not a battery. the free/junkyard/repaired LCD is better than the crt monitors.

I know of a few spots, I'm not sure if they ALL pertain to Win98, but you can give it a shot.

There's the old autoexec.bat, config.bat and such. (sysedit should show everything)
Sometimes in the \%systemroot% directory there might be a file called wininit.ini that might have some stuff in it.
Also there's regedit:

\local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run\
\current user\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run\

Finally, check the start up group/start menu folder for anything.

Actually, after re-reading I think I misunderstood the question.

I'm not sure how you'd change the location a program came up on in the screen.

I have been tolerating it
removed the program ran regclean
tries a bunch of stupp
it still comes up down and to the right.
