Presently seeking a 486 system board with the following specs.....
- Socket 3 with support for a DX4 Processor
- 4X 72 pin SIMM slots
- VLB or PCI Bus
- L2 Cache or Provisions for
I am looking to either buy or trade - I have a ton of spare parts laying around to trade with, if you need a particular item, chances are I just might have it. I will also take bare bones systems with these specs. |

I might have one or two that fit your specs. Let me look out in the garage.
I know I've got some boards with ISA/PCI slots, they're either Socket 3, 5 or early 7. |

I've got one. The 4 72 pin SIMM slots are difficult to find (most had 2, and 4 30 pin SIMM slots.)
It's a FIC 486-PIO2. Documentation can be found at:
http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57441
The Socket 3 socket looks a little burnt, I'm certain it was that way when I got it and worked fine. There's no CMOS battery on it (I may have taken it off to ensure it wouldn't leak.)
I don't know that I have a 486 processor to test this motherboard with, so if you'd like to take a chance I'd be happy to send it to you. |

we have boards cards parts
some accessible and some buried in a 10'
x 20' pile. But as was postewd a few years ago nobody is even willing to pay shipping charges
My son is tossing any pentium with an isa slot
but I "Think" I have convinced him that even older stuff may be of interest to someone.
he even tossed a 1600 p4 with NO isa slots and even whole working computers.
I was given some VLB cards. |

People are willing to pay shipping for 286-486 motherboards (I am anyway). Have any caching IDE or SCSI VLB controllers you want gone? |

Hey creepingnet,
Are you still looking? I've still got that 486-PIO2 board if you're interested. (No problem if you aren't, please let me know.) |

Actualy no, I picked one up off of VCF, an FIC PVT. Thanks for offering though. |
