What brand/model SCSI or IDE cards work on the original Tandy 1000 systems (looking for something bootable)?

the tandy 1000, according to my experience is a total PITA
you cannot use a normal add-on memory card liemk a ast 6-pack. I think the tandy 1000 is more like a pc junior
has something about not having DNA or something
the kb supports 12 function keys, something no other 8088 does.
I gave a man a copy of " night mission pinball"
it took him 4 days to figure out whick keys were changed..
I tried replacing a floppy on opne, it did not work
all I can say is keep trying and good luck

Not familiar with that one, however, since the 1000 is very much like a PCjr to my knowledge, you could try looking into the Very eary future domain scsi adapters, i think there was even a sidecar that supplied scsi. BUT i do know, if you want it to work in a tandy 1000, you have to mod the card slightly.

I should just get a card for my XT clone and leave the Tandy 1000 for just floppy use.

the tandy supposedly used a regular
wd wx1002 ? ( square) card
bel;ow the strip of 6 or 8 jumpers and to the left, there is another jumper of solder pads
this jumper enabled the alternate address required for the tandy 1000. ( different IRQ I think) one is 5 and the tasndy may be irq3 may have to use 3 or set up the drive on a xt or clone.
Look for a card with the jumper
I think that is bridged on normal cards.
I tried cutting or adding pins or somehow modifying a card to use on a friends tandy 1000
but I was not sucessful.
I think I srnt the Doc to this site or I could find it here,
