I got an email from a guy who claims to have been the manager in charge of developing the Kaypro 2000 laptop, which was one of the very first "real" laptop computers. I have two of them...he would like to buy one, since he doesn't have one.
google turned up a single document that seems to confirm his claim.

Seems like I remember some sort of scam like that a few years back...
Nevertheless....
Just make sure you get cash-in-hand (not check or promise of a check) before turning loose of something like that. And don't let it go cheap because you don't need it.... |
