What do you guys think about having our own personal edition of Total Hardware 1999? You know, the current editions are pretty useful, but there are some things that could be added to make it much better.

The most important thing would be to fill in the undocumented jumper settings. Some of pages are filled in quite well, while I find others to be a little lacking.

It would also be nice to add notes at the bottom indicating incompatibilies, common problems and such.

Finally, having a link to an actual JPEG image of the device would be kind of nice.

I was thinking that all of the trusted members of the forum could be given a password to make modifcations to each page. Perhaps it is possible to do it using a form similar to the one we have for the XT club. Who did that anyway? It's pretty good stuff. Using a form would be best, because then we can just fill in the information as we find it. We'll probably never finish anyway.

We could call it Total Hardware 1999+

I think it would be pretty popular, but I'm not sure we could cope with all the bandwidth.

Nice idea, but without PCI cards and Pentium motherboards...

Yeah, we could always strip out the stuff we don't need. I would start with the motherboard index.

mf2's already WAY ahead of you.

We've had that link on there since the page has been up, I think.

I've been having difficulty accessing mf2's server. Perhaps it has to do with the firewalls setup by the Chinese government.

Has mf2 altered TH99 in anyway?
