There is a lady with some rare but nearly valueless old computer portrait equipment I would like, she is moving but she does not want to move her computer portrait equip again (nor will she devote time to send it and pack). It will probably be tossed when she moves

Anyone here willing to pick it up for me and ship to WI?

I would pay for your time and effort

Thanx
Ryan

Its a QLT bios system, basically a standard pentium 150mhz computer with a strange video frame capture card and a locking case with a serial remote for snapping RCA composite video pictures using windows 95 and a program called futura 100 which would overlay the picture into a poster, the software only runs with a very specific capture card and under windows 95 a and b only. She also has a wax thermal shinko printer and a lot of old cloth posters that you put peoples pictures on. Also has a kr222 "hi res" (I use that loosely) CCD video camera aka 480 tv lines.

Sadly I have never owned the system or encountered it directly, if I look enough I might be able to find a flyer (if I didn't toss it) as to which one Oak and Red both sound familiar but I would have to contact QLT directly to find out, they had BNC RCA connectors and were very low noise designs rated up to the max output of the composite standard, very rare and made to order drivers would not be possible to find outside of qlts own software I doubt.

Thanx
Ryan

Most likely... Posts only one message when he visits the old board? or buzzes about when he remembers?

I got a reply and she already moved near denver, she is thinking about ebaying the stuff, hopefully she starts it with a realistic starting bid and I might get it cheaper by auction than I would through FOF's

Cheers
