We had the abandonware discussion here a few times already. My personal opinion still is that everything that is EOL and not being sold anymore is fine (Windows up to ME, Office up to 97 etc.), but my opinion as one of the UCL admins is that we cannot tolerate abandonware. However what you do via Private Message is entirely your business.
SimCity classic is awesome, that's the first game I ever played. However even SimCity classic was still being sold as part of the "Green Pepper" software budget series here in Germany as recently as 2005(ish) (I still have the CD somewehere) for something in the $5 range. So especially games and abandonware are a difficult topic. |

mf_2 I do understand. I will edit a bit and just tell what I have.
I should have PQ (police quest) somewhere as well.
Also have FS4.
Simcity and PQ were fun to play |

Was FS4 colored already? I remember running some 5.25" Microsoft Flight Sim for DOS on my 386-25 via a black and white (no, not even greyscale) Hercules 8-bit isa card and it was very playable
However as with all Flightsim versions, the keyboard control felt a little slow.
What is Police Quest about? |

When the product is provided free of charge does it count? |
Nope. That's considered freeware and not only tolerated, but also encouraged. Symphony 3.0.1 is based on OpenOffice 3.2/3.3 and even though OO is in a state of flux now (see link below), it's still free...which is always good.
