With the masses of computer geeks switching to Linux and many users abandoning Internet Explorer, poor Microsoft really has it bad. It gets worse, however, when you read this recent bulletin from the National Weather Service:

FireFox is just great and speaking of weather, have you tried the ForcastFox extension ?
if you now the name of the nearest airport to where you live you can get good reports.

About linux, has anyone tried Ubuntu ?

I have installed ubuntu in one of my systems its great !!! its Debian based but the install its much more easy.
If you are never try Debian because its one of the most difficult linux around
THEN TRY UBUNTU!!!!!!!!!!!!
or if you wana see debian without tyo install anything to your HD then try MEPIS live CD
and also you can intall it to the HD with easy way.

The cool thing about Ubuntu is that if you go to http://shipit.ubuntulinux.org/ and get
CDs for free shipping and all, you get both live and install CD, great if you got a slow connection. I got the"The Hoary Hedgehog Release" (ver 5.04) .

Is the Ubuntu live CD better than knoppix? I recently downloaded the knoppix live CD and it's just incredible, being able to run a full fledged operating system and browse the internet without a hard drive, nor having to worry about viruses or messing up the system. You can even run as root safely, because you just can't mess anything up. Very sweet! Very Happy

its incredible as recovery OS and as learning linux OS
ITS SIMPLY THE BEST LIVE CD EVER.......... (i thing Laughing
