My windows 9x boxes can't seem to handle many of my favorite web forums very well because of various google and other ad and tracking sites that lock up some portion of the tcpip stack or the like, its odd because all webbrowsers freeze and I can't execute one of my other varieties of webbrowser, sometimes the browser will eventually unfreeze but usually dead in the water.
I have my hosts file blocking thousands of the damn things and it has helped a bit but not for all and it seems random.
