We're all familiar with the AST 'Sixpak Plus' cards. I'm looking for the ones that came next in the evolutionary line of these, the AST 'Sixpak Premium'. They're identical to the Plus series except they have up to 2 meg. of total memory; whatever is not used for backfilling to 640K is expanded memory.
The base card itself comes with 1 meg. of RAM on it, there is a optional daughtercard that adds 1 meg. to make the 2 meg. total.
I believe the expanded memory on these is only v. 3.2, not the later 4.0. |
